The United States Virgin Islands of St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix have a new mascot and a new outlook, thanks to the efforts of the invigorated Department of Tourism. No doldrums here, as visitors to the site enjoy personal travel planning tools, and gateways to discovery of the nature, culture and history of the islands.
The new symbol for USVI Tourism is the Moko Jumbi, which presides over all festivities while warding off any negative spirits who may be skulking about. Juggling three stars, which represent the 3 greater U.S. Virgin Islands (Water Island, the fourth, was deeded over to the territory from the U.S. Department of the Interior in 1996), the Moko Jumbi emanates kinetic energy in its vividly colored costume.
Island weddings, boating, SCUBA, and horseback riding... snorkeling, parasailing, business meetings and incentives, family reunions, romantic getaways... all in the United States Virgin Islands, the home of McLaughlin Anderson Luxury Villas!
