Villa Reviews now on our web site!

In an effort to make our villa reviews simpler to access, we have compiled all of the testimonials posted on this blog, on our web site!

We know that reviews can help our guests to make their decisions, and appreciate receiving them. In fact, we'd love to see even more of these! Our new, free St. Thomas island information app, Villa Life, contains a digital guest book feature, which makes it so easy to leave a review. Often guests provide these on our paper Villa Guest Questionnaire (St. Thomas villas - we're the island managers here)... and, of course on the other islands our managers share notes sent via email or left in physical guest books.

Just wanted to say thank you again for all your help with our vacation. The villa was wonderful and (our cook) Denise was simply a gem. She made a great vacation even better. The weather was terrific and everything was as advertised. We toasted you all by the pool overlooking the ocean and it didn't get any better than that. Once again thank you all so much for your help throughout our great adventure.

Grenada's Caribella - and picture-perfect villa weddings

This is an update to an article that ran originally in October 2009 after receiving some wedding setup photos from one of our Grenada villa managers.  A fresh new season is just 'round the corner, and with that, we are sure, many plans for bright beginnings and tender memories...

Grenada villa Caribella was recently the perfect spot for lovely wedding, and the managers sent along a few photos of the setup for us to enjoy.  Click on any thumbnail below to view the larger versions. 

     

Receiving these photos was a reminder to us that is that we often receive requests to host weddings at our villas.  The main reasons our guests cite for having a villa wedding are:  enhanced intimacy, romance and privacy.

You may view conditions for renting the following villas for large functions and gatherings (over maximum headcount) on our web site under "Rental Notes": Estate Belvedere on St. Croix; Bellagio Estate and Ventana, on St. Thomas; Kismet and Seashore Allure (must book all 8 units) on St. John;  and Sade on Tortola.

As you can see, we have only a handful of villa owners who will permit gatherings that go beyond the established maximum headcount.  Please ask your agent or telephone our office (1-800-537-6246) as part of the planning process, as it may be possible to host your wedding at a villa not listed above, under specific conditions:

1)  If the ceremony only entails those who are registered guests at the villa plus the official(s) necessary to carry out the ritual.

2)  Licensed vendors (such as spa personnel or caterers) must be introduced to McLaughlin Anderson Luxury Villas and the island manager to ensure access and compliance with the rules regarding the care of our guests.

3)  Subject to owner approval and conditions at all times.  Please inquire!
