McLaughlin Anderson celebrates an important milestone this summer - it's our Silver Anniversary! We have been providing luxury villa vacations for a full 25 years from our headquarters on St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands.
McLaughlin Anderson actually began in 1985 as an offshoot of longtime island Broker Frank McLaughlin's real estate company as a way to keep new island owners' homes vibrant and lived-in, bringing in some cash to offset operating expenses. Without someone in there to run the water and the air-conditioning, splash around in the pool, and sleep in the beds, a home can lose its luster. Pipes rust, musty smells arise, electrical wiring corrodes in the salt air, pools get murky, and tropical critters move in. Enter our villa rental guests, who keep the homes in our portfolio filled with joyful living while creating their own special memories.
Over 25 years, we've seen a lot of smiles, engagements, anniversaries, birthdays, family reunions, and we now have friends who have been renting with us for all of this time as we continue to make new ones. And while everyone dreams of a perfect villa vacation, we all know that sometimes things do not go as planned, especially in the islands... so we've developed internal processes that ensure prompt attention, excellent customer care, and speedy resolutions.
