Congrats to USVI Tourism Commish Doty on becoming CTO Chair

 

USVI Tourism Commissioner and CTO Chair Beverly Nicholson Doty

I'm very excited for U.S. Virgin Islands Commissioner of Tourism Beverly Nicholson Doty on her being elected Chair of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) - it's not only a high honor for Mrs. Doty, but a feather in the cap for the territory.

 

The announcement was made at the State of the Industry conference in St. Kitts early in October 2012.

"It is with great humility that I accept this vote of confidence in me and in the U.S. Virgin Islands from the CTO Council of Ministers and Commissioners of Tourism," Doty shared in a press release.

"I look forward to continuing the hard work of outgoing chairman Sen. Richard Skerritt of St. Kitts and Nevis and collaborating with each of the Caribbean's nations and territories to advance marketing, product and human development efforts through coordinated regional approaches."
